You can learn more about Red Lake at http://redlakerosie.blogspot.com/2008/02/learn-about-red-lake-rosies-rescue.html.

I couldn't agree with you more about the importance of spaying/neutering. Education is also very critical and Pet Haven is exploring ways to work with Red Lake along with HSUS on ways to help the Red Lake community.Marilouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04754311331904306582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3428667705081488214.post-66488772765317307322008-11-14T10:51:00.000-06:002008-11-14T10:51:00.000-06:00I am appalled at the cruelty that some people are ...I am appalled at the cruelty that some people are capable of, and amazed at the love of little Sophia. This story brought me to tears.
Is there any way to work with a humane organization to bring a mobile spay/neuter unit to Red Lake? If we could reduce the number of unwanted litters, hopefully incidents of dumping and cruelty would be fewer. I would prefer that people had to get on a waiting list to get a pet, rather than view them as disposeable or a nuisance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
